Esta semana, los organizadores del Montreux Jazz Festival anunciaron que han compartido presentaciones históricas sacadas de sus archivos para ser vistas gratis durante un mes.
El equipo tenía planeado entregar el cartel de la versión 54 del festival suizo, el segundo de jazz más importante en todo el mundo, pero debido a la contingencia mundial, decidieron postergar el anuncio, asegurando que las fechas estipuladas, contempladas entre el 3 y el 18 de julio- no estaban confirmadas y se encontraban en contacto con las autoridades. “Nuestro equipo sigue trabajando, con la esperanza y la humildad, de poder realizar la versión de este año en las mejores condiciones posibles”, explicaron los organizadores del Montreaux Jazz Festival a través de redes sociales.
Sin embargo, en el mismo comunciado, sorprendieron a sus seguidores al anunciar que liberaron una serie de conciertos gratuitamente en la plataforma de Stingray Qello: «Durante estos tiempos, el festival quisiera llevarles un poco de magia a sus hogares. Liberamos más de 50 presentaciones disponibles para ver por streaming gratis».
