Finalmente se realizaron los esperados Oscar 2024, a través de un pre-show y posterior ceremonia en el clásico teatro Dolby ubicado en Hollywood, California. La jornada, como se esperaba, dejó satisfacción, como decepción.
El 2023 tuvo varias películas que quedarán para siempre en la memoria de los cinéfilos. Sin embargo, las que llegaron hasta este punto de la temporada de premios y triunfaron fueron cintas como Oppenheimer, Poor Things o la francesa Anatomy of a Fall.
Por el lado actoral, personalidades como Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. o Da’Vine Joy Randolph obtuvieron sus primeros Oscar. Mientras que Emma Stone obtuvo el segundo de su carrera.
Hay que recordar que Chile también marcó presencia en la edición 96 de los populares galardones. Esto, con «La memoria infinita» y «El Conde». como representantes. No obstante, nuestro país se fue con las manos vacías.
