Wayne Static, cantante y guitarrista de Static-X, falleció a los 48 años de edad por causas aún no confirmadas.

La información fue dada a conocer la noche del sábado 1 de noviembre por Fixt Publicity, agencia del músico, cuyo nombre verdadero era Wayne Richard Wells.

A pesar de no ser publicada la razón del deceso, varios mensajes de colegas y amigos en redes sociales dan por hecho de que se debió a una sobredosis.
